5. Data Storage and Security

6. Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, or transfer personal information to third parties. Your data remains on your device and under your control.
7. Third-Party Services
DailyCue does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app does not use SDKs that collect user data, and it does not transmit data to remote servers.
8. SMS Notifications
When you complete a routine and have SMS notifications enabled, DailyCue opens your device’s default SMS app with a pre-composed message addressed to your selected contacts. DailyCue does not send SMS messages directly. You review and send each message yourself.
9. Backup and Export
DailyCue lets you export your data as a JSON backup file to any location you choose via your device’s file picker. You may also import previously exported backup files. Backup files are plaintext JSON and may contain all of your app data. You are responsible for the storage and transmission of backup files you create.
10. Permissions We Request
On Android, additional system permissions may be requested to support reliable notification scheduling. On iOS, the system handles notification scheduling automatically once permission is granted.
11. Your Rights
- You can delete all app data through your device’s application settings.
- Uninstalling the app removes all stored data.
- There is no account or login system, so no data can be linked to an external service account.
- You can export your data at any time using the backup feature in Settings.
12. Children's Privacy
DailyCue does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of DailyCue after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
